Jill got her blood work back on Monday with the good news that her white blood cells were back up to a normal level. That was exciting for about 0.02 milliseconds because now its time for chemo therapy which started Monday night. It's 5 days/month for 6 months double dose (compared to the first round). Monday night consisted of Jill puking quinoa all over the bathroom most the night. We were going to post a picture of that but who knows who'll get offended by such crude blogging. Last night the promethazine (anti nausea medication) started to kick in; no pukage in the bathroom or anywhere else.
Doesn't sound nearly as fun as taking Team-o-cil (from Arrested Development)

ReplyDeleteWe loved the Halloween costumes! Jill definitely could have won the first prize in a costume contest. Princess Bride is an all time favorite movie of ours. You did look a lot more like Wesley than Zorro! Did you dress up your dog too? I can't remember his name, but have enjoyed seeing him in your pictures.

ReplyDeleteWe haven't seen or spoken since high school, but I heard rumors about your condition and a blog, so I investigated and found it. Just wanted to write a short note to let you know that you are clearly an inspiration and that your fighting spirit creates reverberations of hope farther than you may realize. Never give up. I have no frame of reference personally for what hell you're going through, but I trust that your spirit endures, especially with the support you have around you. Good luck and never give up.
