Vacation from Radiation
It is so good to be back in Flagstaff, and even better to have two days off from radiation. The radiation is taking it's toll on Jill hair and she is developing a bald spot in a worse place than mine.
The past week only brought one night of nausea and no loss in appetite.
We got to see our baby boy Leo (sorry Mom, he's still a dog) and enjoy the wonderfully cool weather. Today we went for an awesome 2.5 hour hike and had a picnic lunch up on the mountain.
Next week the guard changes again as Kat heads back to San Francisco and Jill's brother Steve hopefully brings some Seattle rain to Arizona.

It does not surprise me that you are handling the treatments so well, Jill. It does make me very happy though! Hope you and Rob have another lovely day in Flagstaff before heading back to Phoenix. Love, Amparo
ReplyDeleteAm so pleased that you are doing so well. Hope that your weekend in Flagstaff was relaxing. I like visiting your town. The Natural History Museum is fascinating. We visited it years ago, but I still remember it. I also remember eating in an Irish Pub near a historic area. I think that the restaurant was called something like Murphy's or some Irish last name. Loved seeing the picture of Leo, your dog. Bet that he was glad to see you. Both of you are in our nightly prayers. Your medical caregivers and your parents are too.
